Comments Policy

Holocaust Controversies welcomes comments from all perspectives, but the administrators reserve the right to remove posts or call a halt to derails for the following reasons:
  1. Spam. Comments promoting commercial links of no relevance to our subject matter will be deleted automatically.
  2. Off-topic digressions. Please try to keep comments on-topic to the post in question; for example if a post is about Treblinka, comments about Auschwitz may well be off-topic.
  3. Trolling or excessive repetition.
  4. Libel and identity spoofing/fraud.
  5. Abusive, insulting, offensive, violent or threatening language, regardless of whether it is used by Holocaust deniers, critics of Holocaust denial or anyone else. The use of racist, misogynist, homophobic or otherwise disparaging slurs and insults, be it by Holocaust deniers or anyone else, or against Holocaust deniers or anyone else, will not be tolerated.
Comments can be made on posts for 90 days without prior administrator approval, without prejudice to the above-mentioned restrictions. All comments on posts made more than 90 days previously require administrator approval.

While informative and substantive additions to older posts will be approved, comments threads older than 90 days are not intended for ongoing debates. Very few comments on older posts will therefore be approved after 90 days.

Comments threads are not intended as general debate forums. Other platforms exist for that. Contributors to Holocaust Controversies can be found posting at a number of forums where they do not have moderator powers, such as RODOH, Skeptics Society Forum and the International Skeptics Forum. We welcome debates, arguments and discussions that are more in-depth or broad-ranging at these venues.

If you have a question in connection with the above (e.g. if you want to know on which forum you may discuss your issues in more detail with the author of a post), feel free to contact us at questions.hc@googlemail.com.
